Since 2015, we’ve been turning neighbors into friends—while shining a spotlight on the people and organizations that make Volusia County an incredible place to live and work.

I’m Chris Attaway, and I started this podcast because I love this town. Daytona Beach isn’t just where I live—it’s where I was born, and where my heart is. It’s the birthplace of NASCAR, a hub of entrepreneurial grit, and the place where my family’s roots run deep. In fact, my grandfather was one of the founders of NASCAR. He won the beach race twice and is honored in the local Motorsports Hall of Fame. That sense of legacy and community inspires everything I do.
